"Ways of Praying" Lent Group

Five evenings trying out different forms of prayer, of tuning in to God. They’ll be guided by different worship leaders each time, but you will have your own ideas and chance to share. Some will be very ‘hands on’ practical, some contemplative, some musical or artistic, some will engage all the senses, and some will be focussed on one memorable verse or quotation. If the weather happens to be good, we may spend some of the time outside. We’re not talking about praying, just diving in and doing it. So of course God may surprise us! Like the Taizé evenings, they may turn out to be the bit of quiet and peace you need in your busy week, but they’re likely to be fun and thought-provoking too.
