The Easter Vigil

After remembering the stories of salvation together, we light the first fire of Easter, light and bless the paschal candle, and carry the light into the church. We will then celebrate a joyful eucharist as we greet the risen Christ. Fizz and chocolates will be served after the service.

This is a joint service for St Peter's Cowgate and St Wilfrid's Newbiggin Hall, taking place at St Peter's (NE5 3LP).

St Peter

St Peter's is the Church of England Parish Church for Cowgate, Blakelaw and North Fenham. We are a small but friendly bunch of people, and whoever you are you will find a warm welcome here. Everyone is welcome at any of our services and events. If there is anything you would like to ask before you come, you can always get in touch with Ruth, our vicar, and she will be happy to have a chat.
