In these homilies I will reflect on the presence of holiness in 3 places — in our city of Peterborough, in our neighbours, and in ourselves. I'll suggest that our lives do not need to be remarkable to encounter the holy. Rather, we need to be able to perceive holiness in the ordinary and the mundane. In order to do this, our sense of perception needs to be transfigured through prayer, fasting and acts of service. Then, and through God's help, we may begin to see the world through Christ's eyes, as precious, beloved and holy.
