Family-friendly service for all ages. On the shortest day of the year, light a candle to welcome the birth of Christ the Light of the World.

We begin in Cathedral Square with a retelling of the Nativity story (and hopefully real donkeys!) before heading to the Cathedral for the ever popular Christingle service.

With carols sung by our youngest choristers, and a Christingle orange to take home.

Traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols, with special seasonal music from the Cathedral choir.

Popular carols with the Salvation Army band and the Christmas crib.

Celebrate the birth of Christ at Peterborough Cathedral with a special traditional service of readings, prayers, carols and music sung by the Cathedral choir.
