Fiori Musicali concert

Venue
St James, Edgcote
Address

Garden of the Rose - part of Fiori Musicali's summer 2025 series 'Hortus Musicus' - the musical garden
Music with ‘horticultural’ titles inspires a magical evening in the tiny church at Edgcote. Charismatic violinist Kerstin Linder-Dewan performs some of Biber's famous ‘Rosary sonatas’ – a tribute to the rose. Other flowers appear too - amaranthus, gilliflower & hearts ease - pieces by the Scottish baroque composer James Oswald. And no garden would be complete without the birds, depicted by Heidi Fardell on recorder & flute.

A fascinating early evening concert in a beautiful Northamptonshire church. Tickets available at ticketsource.co.uk/fiori and on the door. Concert begins at 6pm. Bring a cushion for extra comfort!

NB Access only via the A361 at Wardington – ignore the ‘Road closed’ signs!

Welcome to Edgcote Church in rural South Northamptonshire!

We have a service from the Book of Common Prayer on the 4th Sunday of the month at 11.00am. This alternates between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer and is usually supported by an excellent choir. Everyone is welcome!
