Most Holy Trinity celebrated our Patronal Festival for our church and village in style this year.
On Saturday a team of Morris Dancers came to Hinton-in-the-Hedges to dance at the home of the famous Hinton-in-the-Hedges dance. They gathered outside of our church to dance on the path.
On Sunday we were joined by the Benefice Choir, who sang our Anthem and chant. Our church was full, and we had a compliment of five children taking on roles in the service, and doing so with grace and ability.
In the middle of our service the Rector blessed the land and people of the parish, the church building, the organ and bells, the lectern, the pulpit, and the altar. All ably assisted by our young acolytes.
We want to thank all of our volunteers who helped put this service together, provided refreshments, shared talents, arranged flowers, sent out invitations, and rang bells. Thank you all.
