Eleven of us met in the pub to discuss the report from the Wildlife Trust.
We discussed plans for 2026 which will enhance our churchyards both for people and wildlife.
Plans include:
- Mown areas
- Conservation areas
- Spring flowering areas
- Summer flowering areas
- Bird boxes
- Children's and herb planters maintained
- Ivy and brambles controlled
- Some trees trimmed
- a small water feature
- paths maintained around the churchyard
- a noticeboard to record work and things we have spotted
- leaf mould container
