Eleven of us met in the pub to discuss the report from the Wildlife Trust.We discussed plans for 2026 which will enhance our churchyards both for people and wildlife.Plans include:Mown areasConservation areasSpring flowering areasSummer flowering areasBird boxesChildren's and herb planters maintainedIvy and brambles controlledSome trees trimmeda small water featurepaths maintained around the churchyarda noticeboard to record work and things we have spottedleaf mould containerWorking parties first Saturday of the month 10-12 - ALL WELCOME!
Thank you to all who supported our Christmas Fair in so many ways. It was wonderful to see the church so full of folk enjoying the atmosphere. The afternoon was greatly enhanced by the presence of the beautiful St James School Choir.We raised £913 - an excellent result.
