This is a monthly event, held alternately at Brampton and Harlestone Churches at 2pm on the second Saturday. It's an hour of coming together whether you're a mimer, growler, crooner or world-class singer. The main thing is that we join together and YOU choose the hymns and songs we sing, because if you don't, the clergy or pianist/organist will! Rounded off by a cup of tea and cake, this is a popular event for those that can testify singing is good for wellbeing.
Sung service in modern language with organ-accompanied music
The trumpet shall sound at 6pm on Sunday 15 June 2025 at St Andrew’s Church, Harlestone when renowned music group Fiori Musicali is thrilled to be joined by Trumpeter Royal, David Blackadder in an exciting programme of music by Bach and Handel. David Blackadder has appeared in countless performances and recordings, playing solo trumpet for the Royal Wedding in 2018. Opportunities to meet and talk about books you love, read a book together and mull it over, drink copious tea/coffee and eat cake, meeting and making friends. Held on the last Friday of each month hosted by Revd Kim
Our new service, held at 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month - an informal gathering at the rear of church for music, accompanied on keyboard and guitars, with freestyle worship and prayer. Our Curate,The Reverend Rachel Cooley, ordained as Deacon last St Petertide, is to be ordained priest at 4pm on Saturday 5 July at Peterborough Cathedral. All from the parish and benefice are welcome and invited to attend for this special service and massive milestone in Rachel's journey.
We come together from six parishes at St Mary the Virgin, East Haddon, as our Curate, The Rev Rachel Cooley, ordained priest the day before, presides at her first Communion Service at 10am. All welcome to come support Rachel
Class 2 from Harlestone School present to friends and parents, their first ever Ukulele Concert, and we are delighted for the school to use the church for this event
