Ride + Stride is the single largest source of income for the Historic Churches Trust enabling them to make Grants to places of Christian worship. Taking place on Saturday 13th September 2025 the funds raised will be split 50/50 between the Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust and the churches in our Benefice.

This year the Benefice of Ashby, Braunston and Welton are organising a sponsored Stride between the three churches in the Benefice. We will be starting at 10am from All Saints Braunston walking to The Blessed Virgin Mary and St Leodegarius church, Ashby St Ledgers then onto St Martin's Welton before returning to Braunston. The total distance is about 7.6 miles and should take us about 3.5/4 hours. There will be refreshments available at each of the churches we visit along the way.

In addition to the walk our parishioners are also helping this year's Ride + Stride through a sponsored "sit in" in St Martin's, serving refreshments and holding special events such as an Art Exhibition in St Martin's.
