The Churches in Cogenhoe, Great Houghton, Little Houghton and Brafield on the Green are now Temporarily Closed, for the duration of the National Lockdown

As you may know the Government has decided that unlike the first two lockdowns, during which churches we forced to close, this time they may remain for public services if it is safe to do so. The Rector and PCCs of the churches in the benefice have concluded that at this time it is not safe to so. So we have reluctantly decided that for your safety and protection the instruction to “stay at home” must apply as much to churches as to schools, shops, restaurants and other places of gathering. Therefore, the Churches in Cogenhoe, Great Houghton, Little Houghton and Brafield on the Green are now closed to the public and are likely to remain closed for the duration of the lockdown and the “stay at home order”. We will be opening them as soon as we can safely do so. In the meantime we will continue to provide a weekly service on Youtube and by post for those who cannot access the internet, and we continue to provide other services and activities on Zoom.
