We are delighted that Rev Ian Browne, will be taking our first service of 2026 with a celebration of Plough Sunday.

Traditionally Plough Monday, the first Monday after Epiphany was the first day that farm workers returned to the fields after Christmas. In ancient times communal ploughs were often stored in the local church, and would be blessed before being used for the first time each year.

New ringers would be very welcome or just drop in for tea and biscuits!
