Welcome to St Francis Church, Northern Parade, Hilsea, Portsmouth PO2 9LX.St Francis’ Church has always been about serving the whole community, young and old, newcomers and longstanding residents. A Holy Communion (or Eucharist) service is held every Sunday morning at 1000 with hymns during - and refreshments afterwards. A simpler and shorter service is held at 0930 every Tuesday. We are an inclusive and welcoming church. Treasuring all that is precious in what we have inherited from the past, we seek always to root ourselves in the risen life of Jesus: always the same, always reforming what we do to address the needs of God’s beloved people as we encounter them - semper eadem, semper reformanda - always the same, always eager to express it afresh !
