A special service for everyone in the Benefice of Newport and Carisbrooke with Gatcombe in St John's Church, Newport. Everyone is welcome to join us.
There will be no service at any of the other churches in the Benefice today.

A 50 minute walk and talk around the church and churchyard, looking at the history and the natural history linked to the church and churchyard. Looks at how thw world around us will have changed with time, both in terms of our built history and the natural world. An interesting medieval church with fine glass in a beautiful setting.
Number 6 bus stops at the end of the road a 10 minute walk to the church.
Richard will stay and offer something similar to anyone who cannot be there or members of the congregation at 3pm.

Lots of delicious home made cakes and a chance to catch up with friends in Chillerton village hall.
