Celebrations are kicking off for St Swithin’s Harvest Festival this Sunday at 11:00 AM! It promises to be a warm, joyful morning filled with uplifting music, community spirit, and gratitude for the season.

Whether you are a regular attendee, visiting with family, or simply looking to join in the festivities, everyone is welcome.

What to Expect

Joyful Worship & Music: Sing along to classic harvest hymns and enjoy an inspiring, uplifting service celebrating abundance and togetherness.

All-Age Friendly: A welcoming atmosphere with activities and moments geared toward all generations, from little ones to grandparents.

Harvest Offerings: A central focus on giving back—attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food items (tinned goods, pasta, rice, toiletries) to support local families and food banks.

Tea, Coffee & Good Company: Stick around after the service for tea, coffee, and plenty of sweet treats while catching up with neighbors and friends.

Pack up a few pantry staples for the offering table, bring along a friend or neighbor, and get ready to celebrate harvest season together!

Our parish of Thorley: St Swithin is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). If you need to call out of hours, our safeguarding service is called "31-8" and is available on weekdays from 7am – 9am & from 5pm – 12am and on weekends from 7am – 12am, telephone 0303 003 1111 and choose option 2..
