About Us

We are a small, very friendly, rural community. The Church is at the centre of many of the community events, and there is a loyal group who ensure this happens. We have a service every Sunday (except for 5th Sundays when there is a Benefice Service, rotating around Greatham, Empshott, Hawkley and Priors Dean).

The services all take place at 9.15am, and are all Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. We have a sermon and typically sing 3 hymns usually from Hymns Ancient and Modern Revised edition.
