Lamb Ale is a traditional Kirtlington event, with singing and dancing in the church and in the streets afterwards. This service is part of the yearly Lamb Ale festival celebrated in Kirtlington that dates back to the early 1600s. Normally held on the weekend of Trinity Sunday, the festival includes Morris dancers recreating the atmosphere that once was!

Saturday 21st June from 1000-1600 all ages are welcome to join our Gigantic Readathon!

Choose a children’s book to be read and return the attached flyer with £5 to your school office by the 23rd May, or contact [email protected]

Then on the 21st June come to hear a passage from your chosen book or a variety of books as the Gigantic Readathon progresses. Refreshments will be available and supporting the (crazy) readers will be fun and much appreciated!
