The parish of St Mary the Virgin, Beighton, is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. Agape meal

The Agape Meal is a Christian fellowship meal recalling the meals Jesus shared
with disciples during his ministry and expressing the koinonia (community,
sharing, fellowship) enjoyed by the family of Christ. There is no blessing over the food so it is not the same as the Holy Communion or the Eucharist.
We begin with some short prayers, and then share the simple meal together.
