Candles are blessed and we carry them in procession to welcome Christ, the light to enlighten the Gentiles and the glory of his people. At last all powerful master you give leave to your servant to go in peace according to your promise. For my eyes have seen our salvation which you have prepared for all nations, the light to enlighten the Gentiles and give glory to Israel your people.

Welcome to anyone who has taken the trouble to look us up. You are very welcome at all of our services and events either here at St. Luke's or at the parish church of St. Leonard and St. Jude, Barnsley Road, Scawsby. St. Luke's is what we call our daughter church, a place of mission and we hope a place to grow the Christian faith in Scawthorpe.
