A thanksgiving Mass not just for the fruits of the earth, but for all the good things that God gives us. Our families, our relationships, our well being. All of this was freely given and much more; who ever gave God anything that he had to give in return. Most of us are very lucky in what we have, but let us remember those who are less fortunate, those who rely on food, clothing and hygiene banks. If you are able please bring a gift for the foodbank, however small that can be offered up at our Harvest Mass. Tins or packets please.

St Luke's Scawthorpe

Welcome to anyone who has taken the trouble to look us up. You are very welcome at all of our services and events either here at St. Luke's or at the parish church of St. Leonard and St. Jude, Barnsley Road, Scawsby. St. Luke's is what we call our daughter church, a place of mission and we hope a place to grow the Christian faith in Scawthorpe.

Our parish of St. Leonard and St. Jude, Scawsby with St. Luke's Scawthorpe is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We follow the House of Bishop's guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer whose contact details can be found on on our website https://www.stleonardscawsby.co.uk.
