Malew and Santan

We are a semi-rural Parish, close to the airport on the Isle of Man, with areas of farmland.  There are 4 churches within our Parish: St Mark's Church (a small village church in a pretty hamlet with adjoining schoolroom, mostly using traditional Book of Common Prayer services but with seasonal services, e.g Rogationtide outdoor services), The Abbey Church, Ballasalla (more contemporary services with a small Sunday school and a variety of social events), Kirk Malew (large historic church on the Southern 100 course with large ancient burial ground on both sides of the road.  Memorials to famous Manx people, including Illiam Dhone) and St Sanctain's, Santon (another small and ancient church in rural surroundings with a variety of styles of service.  Home to ancient Manx crosses).  All churches join in one purpose of sharing different expressions of the same faith and aim to make Jesus known in each community.  Our grounds make a welcoming place for rest and moments of peace.  All churches open daily for prayer and reflection.  All are welcome to our services - please see our Facebook page and website for more details.
