We are delighted to welcome back to St James Church the pupils and teachers from Normanton on Soar Primary School, together with parents, grandparents and friends. The service will follow the story from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection on Easter Day. All are welcome to join us.

We welcome The Revd Derek Hollis to lead our service of Holy Communion on Palm Sunday, at which palm crosses will be distributed to the congregation.

In the peaceful setting of St James Church, we will be holding a quiet service of music, readings and meditation for Good Friday.

On Easter Sunday, we will be holding an Easter Day service of Holy Communion at 9:30 am, led by The Revd Canon Michael Knight. All are welcome to join us at our Easter services.

On Easter Day, we place lilies in the church to remember those who are no longer with us. If you would like us to remember your loved ones in our church at Easter, you may wish to make a donation to buy the lilies and advise us of the name(s) you wish to be mentioned. Please use the "Get in Touch" tab to let us have the names of those to be remembered and use the "Give Now" tab (on the Home page) as a donation to enable us to buy the lilies. It would be appreciated to receive this by 20 March so that we can place the order for the lilies. Also, if you would like to donate some other flowers to decorate the church for Easter, please leave them in the church porch on Good Friday, 3 April; and we will have them in place by Easter Sunday.
