Our Churches and Worship

Over the last couple of months as many of you know the Government <span style="font-size: 1rem;">has said that churches can open at first for private prayer and now for </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">services. However, each church has needed to conduct a suitable Risk </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Assessment to make sure that the buildings can be opened and </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">operated safely. This process begins with The PCC </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">deciding on whether they feel it is possible at the present time for the </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">church to meet the requirements.</span>

Lambley PCC’s meet this week and<span style="font-size: 1rem;"> has decided that it would like to open the church </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">for worship on the first Sunday of September (6th September), this will </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">allow us time to conduct the Assessments and agree a suitable way to </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">provide a safe worshiping environment for our congregation.</span>

<span style="font-size: 1rem;">I </span>realize<span style="font-size: 1rem;"> some would want to back in the church sooner</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> but we all have responsibility for each other and I hope </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">you understand that we are doing our best for everyone within our community</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">.</span>

<span style="font-size: 1rem;">Thank you for your understanding</span>

<span style="font-size: 1rem;">God bless</span>
