At 7pm Mass on Thursday 16th April 2026, we said a fond farewell to our dear Parish Priest Fr. Peter Needham who, for the past 7 years, has faithfully led and shepherded the congregations of St. Helen's Athersley and St. John the Evangelist, Carlton.
We wish Fr. Peter all the very best in his retirement and thank him for his faithfulness, guidance and for the love and care he has shown us.
Thank you Father, may the Lord bless you in this new and exciting chapter.
