Accessibility

In addition to the church car park there is space close to church for dropping off passengers, including parking space for drivers with mobility problems

With level access from the disabled parking spot at church into the porch we have a movable ramp to enable a wheelchair to overcome the one step up into the nave

We are on a bus route but with a very restricted timetable

Please see note on Accessible parking

Gluten free biscuits are available

In addition to assistance dogs we welcome dogs to events, including the Tuesday 'Drop-In'

The one toilet has poor access for those with mobility problems Please see item Toilets

Hearing loop

The church has an on site car park but please see note on Accessible Parking

We have large print copies of the hymn book, and aim to have each service sheet in large format also

Our Building

Although a young church, consecrated in November 1905, our Hodgson Fowler church is Grade 11 listed with School of Kempe stained glass

Barring any accidental hiccups the church is always warm!

The East window and South East aisle window are School of Kempe

At present our one toilet is situated in the boiler house which is in the under-croft and only accessible from outside the building

Music and Worship

The barrel roof to the chancel and nave gives a most excellent acoustic quality to any performance and church has often been used to make live recordings, for instance by our local male voice choir and our brass band,

The Connacher organ is a very fine example of its kind and is well maintained

Groups, Courses and Activities

The MU generally meets at 2pm on the first Wednesday of the month, but will occasionally take part in a deanery wide service instead.
