Getting here
St John’s is a large stone Gothic church, built in 1832, at the heart of Cleckheaton.
Please note: our grounds are temporarily closed (February 2026). Read the Garden of Remembrance tab.
We belong to the Benefice of Cleckheaton, worshipping alongside our friends at Whitechapel and St Luke’s.
Our mission is to be a community where all people can know the healing love and joy of our Lord Jesus, grow in faith, and share that faith through personal witness and service to others.
