Welcome to the United Benefice of Christ Church Staincliffe and St John’s the Evangelist in Carlinghow. As part of the Diocese of Leeds, we are affiliated with The Society and operate under the episcopal oversight of the Bishop of Beverley. Our parish is further enriched by the service of a Priest from the Society of the Holy Cross, who provides dedicated pastoral care to our community. We proudly embrace the Catholic tradition within the Church of England, and our worship is characterized by a high church liturgy.
