Dedication of the Clock & Windows
On the 13th September we had a lovely service of the rededication of St Botolph’s Clock and the beautiful windows in our church.
Mother Sharon & Fr Philip conducted the service; there were 2 readings and the dedication of our Clock & Windows.
Terry, our Clock man, did a talk on the work carried out on the clock. He has done a marvellous job; we presented him with a photo of a clock. A gentleman was taking photos of the church windows and was over whelmed with the work on the clock, he made a copy for Terry who was very pleased with the photo.
Womersley Hand Bell Ringers played 3 tunes. They did well, considering they was short of 4 ringers and their music director; well done.
At the end of the service the tower bells rang out. Thank you to all the ringers the service was beautiful.
There were refreshments afterwards in the Parish Room. Thank you to all who made this a successful event.
