Throughout Lent 2026 we will be following the Church of England’s theme Draw Near: Life-giving habits for Lent. This year’s resources will help us to think about a ‘rhythm of life’ – habits and patterns which help us grow as disciples of Christ day by day, especially as we prepare to celebrate the great mystery of God’s saving love at Easter. The Lent Course will begin on Ash Wednesday, 18th February, and will run for seven weeks during the whole of Lent. There are three groups to choose from:

Wednesday mornings in church at 10.45am (after our midweek Communion service)

Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm

Thursday evenings at 7.30pm

A Spring Concert with Dorset Police Male Voice Choir - this talented choir will perform songs from their repertoire and they're going to sound a treat with the wonderful acoustics of All Saints' Church. Can't wait to hear them!

Palm Sunday Holy Communion service with distribution of palm crosses

A special evening service for Palm Sunday, entitled 'Lift High the Cross'. This will be a service of music and readings led by our choir, enabling us to reflect on the events of Palm Sunday in preparation for Holy week.

A quiet, reflective communion service for Maundy Thursday

Come for hot cross buns at 11.00am and our Good Friday service begins at 11.15am.

Family Communion and baptisms this Sunday - come to celebrate that Christ has risen!

Catherine Clarke is a writer and academic, and will be reading from her latest book 'A History of England in 25 Poems'. The book has been a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week and a Times Book of the Week, and more, so prepare to be enthralled on this illuminating journey through England's history.

With musical interludes with Rebecca Newton and Ellen Davis, it's bound to be a captivating evening in the beautiful All Saints' Church.

Refreshments will be available in the interval.
