THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES  - Discussion groups
Would you like to join us in the Eastern Mediterranean as we continue our ‘cruise’ with Paul and the other Apostles as they are establishing Early Churches in the region?
This will be the third of the four ‘cruises’ in our journey through the Acts of the Apostles.  We have reached Acts 15 and in our five sessions we will be covering up until the early part of Acts 21.
The dates the sessions are:
Tuesdays at 10.00am in the church and Thursdays at 7pm in the church.

Morning Prayer is said at 9am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in church, you are welcome to come and join us.

Said service following Common Worship Order One in Traditional Language. This service is followed by refreshments.

Come and join us for Stay and Play, Friday's 9.15am - 10.45am.

Stay & Play here at St James' Church. Action rhymes/ stories and play sessions! For Parents/Carers/ Grandparents and preschool toddlers up to 4 years. On Wednesdays during term time in the church hall, from 9.15am to 10.45am. Cost £2 per session, including an individual snack. Why not come and make new friends in a fun, safe way?

Saturday 14th June - Come and join in the Churches Count on Nature at the Old Burial Ground, West End Road, SO30 3PJ. We will be recording as much wildlife, flora and fauna as we can in two sessions between 10am and 12 noon (1st Session) and 2pm to 4pm (2nd Session). You are invited to come along and join in at any time. For all the family - children must be supervised. Parking limited.

Traditional Choral Evensong following the Book of Common Prayer led by the church choir

Come and help us at the St James' Allotment - Come and join us in our bid to become 'Sustainable Church Flower Ambassadors.'  We would love it if you would come along and help out at our Church Allotment for an odd hour or two.  There are many jobs that need doing, from painting and repairing the shed, painting the raised beds, watering, trimming the hedge, seedlings to be trans-planted and strimming - we now have our own strimmer!
