This Easter Day we'll be celebrating communion and worshipping together as the sun comes up

Meet at 6:30am, outside of the pontoon in Riverside Park (near the railway track/large playground)

Afterwards we'll head back to the Ascension for breakfast baps and hot coffee (bacon/egg/vegan alternative) - please do sign up so we know how many to cater for

A more traditional reflective service centered around celebrating communion together. There are no children’s groups at this service, though children are welcome to attend. Expect a liturgical service, where we follow the service using written instructions in service booklets with a talk. There will be plenty of time to meet with Jesus and to reflect. Once a month we replace the talk with a time of Lectio Divina, where we mediate on a bible passage in silence, and share together if God speaks to us about the passage. Please stay for refreshments after this service.

Traditional Easter Sunday Holy Communion

A more informal service with a relaxed feel and an extended time of singing as we seek God together, a talk, and with extra time given for prayer ministry. We sometimes celebrate communion at this service. Children’s groups are available at this service. Come any time after 10.00am to grab a coffee before we start.

ASCY is on Thursdays, 6.15pm – 8.15pm during term time only, for school years 6 – 9. It's a time to explore Christian faith more deeply and grow in your identity and relationship with God, with faith-based activities and monthly socials. Contact Jo Szedlak or Luke Shutler for more details.

Jul 2nd – Ascension Games and Craft. Food TBC.
Jul 10th  – The Park! Hot dogs.
Jul 17th  – Pool Party. BBQ. (Parents welcome).
