You are very welcome at our Advent and Christmas services and events – bring your family and friends or come along on your own. Whether it will be your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!

There’s something for everyone at St John’s. Our main Sunday service is at 9.30am — a friendly, contemporary Holy Communion with music and prayer. On the first Sunday of each month, Little Oaks Sunday Club meets during the service for children’s stories and crafts. Christmas 2025 9.30am Sunday 30th November Nativity - come dressed up as your favourite nativity character, an animal or a star! 4.30pm Sunday 30th November - Advent service of remembrance. 4.30pm Sunday 14th December Candlelit Carol service followed by mince pies and mulled wine 3.30pm & 5.00pm Christmas Eve - Christingle services. Bring your own Christingle! 7.00pm Christmas Eve - Holy Communion 10.30am Christmas Day Celebration service - children bring a present to show! During the week we meet for Coffee & Croissants (third Tuesday, 10–11.30am), Craft Group (last Saturday, 10am–12pm) and Home Group (fortnightly Wednesdays). We also host Sea Sunday at Bonne Nuit Harbour, Harvest, Remembrance, Safeguarding Sunday, Carols by Candlelight, Wild Church and our popular Summer Fête. Find us on Facebook @stjohnschurchje.

Children are warmly invited to bring along a toy to show everyone – a wonderful way for them to share their excitement with the whole church family! 🎁❤️
