Safeguarding

Our parish of Jersey: St John is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Church Safeguarding Officer (CSO). The Deanery of Jersey and Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our CSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the CSO [Pip MacAndrew, Phone: ‭01534 861012] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisors by email [email protected] to speak to a caseworker or Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor regarding safeguarding concerns or ongoing cases. Or 01722 438651 and press option 3.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
