A stunning working model railway (built by two volunteers) revealed Hampton Lovett's relationship with the railways and in particular the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton line which passes near the church. The old Cutnall Green Halt was brought to life once more (as above) and stories told such as the role RAF Hartlebury played in World War II. Guided tours enabled visitors to explore the C14th tower and to hear about the meaning of very old (and intriguing) incised markings recently discovered on the walls of the church. As always teas and cakes provided an opportunity to sit and chat as well!
