On Thursday 14th March 2024 Rob Whitehouse of Let's Waste Less came along to Holy Trinity for a Q&A session encouraging members of the local community to put less into their black wheelie bins.

His main message was to reduce what we throw away by being better organised in our buying and in portioning what we cook so that we don't waste food which is the biggest proportion of rubbish. He gave advise on reusing, including taking advantage of getting things fixed at places like repair cafes. 

We were also grateful to take possession of a new compost bin so that flowers from graves, grass cuttings and other greenery from the regular rake and Cake churchyard care group can be ploughed back into the ground in due course.

And, as always at Holy Trinity, there was plenty of hot drinks and homemade cakes for everyone to tuck into.
