It was a great privilege to welcome families to our new iSingBlakedown service on Sunday 14th December. Building on an iSingPOP event which was run in the adjacent school by Kirsty Pierson from iSingPOP we are committed to strengthen our relationship with the school as well as offering the children regular involvement in worship.
Before the service, children were offered the opportunity to take part in various age related crafts activities ranging from wordsearch, crosswords and creating cone nativity characters for their Christmas trees.
Lively worship followed with several songs with actions, and age appropriate telling of the nativity story with points for discussion afterwards and a time for prayer.
