We are a small Church of England church located in the tiny hamlet of Broome in north Worcestershire. We follow a moderate Catholic service, and work closely with our neighbouring churches. Please come along and visit our church, the porch is open during daylight hours.
We currently have a Holy Communion service once a month on the third Sunday at 9.30am, and our Priest, Rev'd Shaun Armstrong, takes a service for us, Blakedown, Churchill, Cookley, Wolverley and Upper Arley. When there is a fifth Sunday in the month a service will take place at one of the six churches.
The parish of Broome is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. Please see below for futher details.
The parish of Broome is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Sara Brehony, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children's or adult's social care services.
