About Us

Welcome to St Mary's Church, Tadcaster, the largest church in the Tadcaster Benefice, in the Anglican Diocese of York.

We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all and are proud to be an Inclusive Church.

On the first and fourth Sundays of the month at 10.30am we hold a traditional (sung) Holy Communion service, with hymns led by our choir.

On the second and third Sundays at 10.30am we have the more informal and relaxed services of Morning Worship and Morning Prayer respectively, which include hymns, bible readings and a talk.  

We also offer traditional BCP Holy Communion at 9am on the third Sunday of the month, and Evensong and Holy Communion (with our choir) on the second Sunday of each month at 4pm.  

A weekly coffee morning is held in church at 10am every Thursday, followed by a simple service of Holy Communion at 11.30am.

We are actively involved with other Christian communities locally, including Churches Together in Tadcaster.
