Services are currently held in the chancel as we have a major structural problem with the nave roof. We are seeking lottery funding to fix the roof.

Visitors to the church are welcome during daylight hours. Please use the side chancel door.

Sunday Services are on the first and third Sunday of the month at 11am

Nature trail - children’s crafts - bug hunting - folk music - ale tent - update on church roof restoration project - view the nave filled with scaffolding holding the roof up. Hear more about the community gardens in the churchyard. Tea and cake - toffee apples and candy floss.
Donations to church roof appeal much appreciated.

Saving the roof at St John’s

Major restoration work is required on the 15 th century hammer beam roof. The exciting news is an architect has been appointed as well as activity and evaluation consultants.We are at the development stage of applying for lottery funding.
