Hello everyone,

<div>As you know, Sunday marks the start of Advent in the Church calendar, and as with everything this year, it's going to look a little different. We wanted to find ways to mark this season despite the restrictions we are all living with, and one of those ways is with a calendar of reflections, some written by people from our Parish and others by those further afield, one for each day of Advent.</div><div>

</div><div>These reflections will be posted on our Facebook page each day, but we have also put them together in a booklet for those of you who would prefer to engage with them that way. The booklet is attached, and we hope and pray that it will be a blessing to you. We are also delivering paper copies of this booklet to those who we know don't have internet access, so that we can all take this journey through Advent together. </div><div>

Advice on printing (saving ink and paper)

</div><div>

If you want to print the booklet rather than look at it on your computer/phone, you can do so in black and white or colour (there are a few images, but you shouldn't lose too much of the effect by printing in black and white if you want to save ink). If you print from page 2 rather than page 1 then you will also save ink as the cover page is quite dark. To save paper, when you go to print if you select 'layout' and 'print two pages per sheet' then this will use half the amount of paper and the text should still be big enough to read.

</div><div>

If you are able to print double-sided on your printer that will use even less paper. I hope this helps!

</div><div>

with every blessing for this Advent season,

</div><div>
