Bishop Flora (The Bishop of Selby) says of Michael’s appointment: ‘I am delighted that, after a period of prayerful discernment with the parish and the diocese, Michael has responded to God’s call to stipendiary ministry in the Diocese of York, and to the appointment as Rector of Garrowby Hill. I am looking forward to welcoming Michael to the Benefice, and to working with him and with the churches as they continue to develop in faith, life and witness.
