A New Thing (Advent)

for 1 hour, 30 mins
St Peter's, Norton
Langton Road Norton on Derwent MALTON, YO17 9AE, United Kingdom

We're changing things up a little in December! Instead of our usual first Wednesday evening, A New Thing will be gathering on Tuesday 1st December as we begin our Advent countdown together. Join us for an evening of contemporary worship, prayer and reflection as we make space to encounter God and prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus. As always, there will be opportunities to pray at our prayer stations, pray with others or spend time in quiet reflection. We'll welcome the Holy Spirit to move among us and explore different ways of worshipping, including creativity and prayer.

St Peter's, Norton

Welcome to St Peter's Church Family - we love and worship Jesus Christ!

It is our prayer that whether you join us for a short time or longer, that you will encounter the warmth of God's gracious welcome and a sense of deeply belonging. Everyone is welcome.

We believe God has given us a vision for St Peter's: where Jesus unlocks Life - Family Life, Full Life, Forever Life.

If you want to get stuck in going deeper in your relationship with Jesus, embracing the power of the Holy Spirit, following His ways and teaching more closely than before – you are also most welcome! There are opportunities to grow as a disciple: learning to know and follow Jesus through smaller Life Groups and through gathering on Sundays and serving our community with God’s love.

We welcome all and we welcome children and their noises too! We have a loving and experienced Children's Church team as well as mid-week gatherings for younger folk. We also have a designated children’s play area at the back of church, and colouring packs for children wanting to stay in the service.
