**Holy Week and Easter – you are very welcome**

We would love you to join us as we move through Holy Week and celebrate Easter together. Whether you come regularly or are just curious, there will be a warm welcome at any of these events.

We begin on **Wednesday 1 April at 7.30pm at All Hallows, Walkington**, with a **Musical Meditation for Holy Week** led by the Weighton Waytes Choir – a quiet and reflective evening to help us pause and prepare.

On **Maundy Thursday (2 April)**:

* **12pm – Little Weighton Village Hall**
Soup and roll lunch with the Bishop of Hull, the Rt Revd Eleanor Sanderson
* **7pm – St Peter’s, Rowley**
Holy Communion and the Stripping of the Altar

On **Good Friday (3 April)**:

* **2pm – St Michael’s, Skidby**
Meditations on the Cross
* **7pm – All Saints, Bishop Burton**
Good Friday Vigil

Throughout Holy Week, the **Stations of the Cross** will be set up in **All Hallows, Walkington** and available during the day for anyone who would like some quiet space for prayer and reflection.

Then on **Easter Day (5 April)**:

* **9.30am – Holy Communion**
* **2.30–4.30pm – Children’s Easter Egg Trail at All Hallows**

Holy Week takes us from the sadness and struggle of the cross to the hope and joy of Easter morning. You would be very welcome to come along for any part of the journey.

All Hallows

The parish of Walkington: All Hallows is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer PSO Mark Smith [email protected]. The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
