St Magnus

A warm welcome awaits you at St Magnus. We are a small, but growing faith community.

We meet for worship at 9:30am on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sunday of each month with Holy Communion on the 4th Sunday of each month. On months where there is a 5th Sunday we hold a Taize Style worship service at 4pm.

Whilst the church is not open at the time, the Bothie in the church grounds is usually open daily between April and October, this is a place to rest and pray. Information about the church and its activities can be found here, including details about the St Magnus Pilgrimage route. The Bothie is a great place for walkers to pause and be refreshed.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

We are part of CCBN and more information can be found at www.ccbn.org.uk or by calling the network office on 01262 404100 Monday - Thursday 9am - 1pm.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Bessingby with Ulrome is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [ Alistair Robertson - Tel 01262 404105 - Email: [email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Rob Marshall - Tel: 01904 699509/07914668907 - Email: [email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
