St John’s

Welcome to St John the Evangelist Church in Sewerby 👋

We’re a family of five churches, together called a Benefice, set on the beautiful Flamborough Headland between Bridlington and Filey. We’re really glad you’ve found your way here.

Our heart is to be welcoming churches right at the centre of our communities, sharing the life and love of Jesus. When you join us, you’ll experience a blend of traditional hymns and more modern songs, with worship that’s full of hope, joy, and encouragement.

Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been coming for years, you’re very welcome. Do stay for coffee and refreshments after the service—we’d love the chance to say hello and get to know you. ☺️
