Thurs once a month - Joyful Connections Welcome Space at Burton Agnes Sports Club 11am -2pm. Normally held on the 1st Thursday of each month except during May which will be on the 8th May due to Polling Day. No session during August. Fundraiser Beacon Benefice.

Friday 9th May Burton Agnes Hall. 7.30pm Music Event. Edwina Hayes brings together English folk, americana and the rich northern singer-songwriter tradition to create a sound that's truly her own. Tickets £15.00 available from the Church Wardens: Janet and Christine. Fundraiser for Burton Agnes.

Saturday 10th May Burton Agnes. 2pm Talk by the Revd Dr Tim Kelly (Ex Professor of High Integrity Systems University of York) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Faith, The Good, The Bad and the ? Followed by refreshments. Donations gratefully received - Fundraiser for Beacon Benefice.

Friday 16th May Bingo in Harpham Village Hall 7.30pm. There will be meat vouchers and a cash prize. Fundraiser for Lowthorpe with Ruston Parva.

Saturday 5th July Afternoon Tea Harpham Village Hall 12 – 4pm. Fundraiser for Beacon Benefice.

Sat 12 July Coffee Morning Well Close Farm 10 -12pm. Fund Raiser for Harpham.

St Martin, Burton Agnes

We're really glad you're here. We are a group of people passionate about sharing the love of God with those around us. Do come and join us at one of our services. You will be made very welcome.

As a benefice we support the statement from Inclusive Church to the effect that:-

We believe in inclusive church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate.

We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality.

We are a small and very friendly congregation. We are very lucky to have a beautiful church and churchyard in this small rural location, with our own organ and organist. We gather to worship on the first Sunday of each month. If you would like to come along to one of our services it would be great to see you. All are very welcome.
