Feel free to bring siblings and stay to watch it yourself. If you wish to leave them you must fill in a consent/medical form. There will be DBS/ safeguarding trained clergy present.

We will be reading out the names of those who have died recently and remembering other departed loved ones we hold dear at this special service. There will also be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your own loved ones. If you would like to add someone to the list of those to be remembered please contact the office [email protected] or write on the sheet in Shipton church. The service will be followed by tea and coffee.

Singing Taster Session in Shipton Church
Shipton Church offers a fantastic opportunity for KS2 children and above to become members of the junior section of the church choir. Enjoy singing Christmas carols at the Christingle Service, Carol Services and crib service.
Everyone welcome.

Children should be able to read and do NOT need to be accompanied by an adult, although this is a fantastic opportunity for adults who enjoy singing to join in too – no experience required. Whilst the choir sings every Sunday there is no expectation that you have to be available every week. Just come when you can. This is a chance to receive professional singing training for free.

Parents are invited to stay for this one event and if your child/ren would like to attend future events without you we will ask you to fill in a consent/medical form. We take safeguarding very seriously and your child/ren will always be in the presence of at least two adults one of whom will be safeguarding trained.

Our 5th Sunday United Benefice Holy Communion Services alternate between the churches in Fifield and Idbury. In June we will be in Idbury Church. In August we will be in Fifield.
