A joint benefice service bringing together members from both parishes to worship together in celebration of Palm Sunday.

Maundy Thursday is the day when Christians remember the Last Supper, when Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with his disciples before being betrayed and arrested.
Join us for a time of silent prayer and Stripping of the Altar.
This is a joint service held at St. Peter’s Church in Wawne. It will be a short service followed by the stripping of the altar and a time of quiet reflection

On Good Friday, Christians remember the crucifixion of Jesus. We will gather to pray at this service of reflection.
All are welcome, this is a joint service at St. Andrew’s. The hour at the cross begins at 2.00pm. There will be some readings from scripture based on the stations of the cross, and taize chants in between readings.

On the third day after being crucified, Jesus’ tomb was found to be empty.
He had risen from the dead. Life triumphs over death! The joy of resurrection is possible only because Christ endured death and conquered it.
