Church services take place every Sunday moving round the four churches of the Parish of Upper Ryedale:
1st Sunday of the month: Church of Saint Mary, Scawton
2nd Sunday of the month: Church of All Saints, Old Byland
3rd Sunday of the month: Church of Saint John, Bilsdale
4th Sunday of the month: Church of All Saints, Hawnby
If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, the congregation attends All Saints, Helmsley at 9.30am
