Martin Vander Weyer will give a talk on the architect Temple Moore, responsible for the design / re-modelling of the small hamlet churches in our area; and his work with Vicar Gray, priest-in-charge of the Parish of Helmsley from 1870 to 1913.  Together they were responsible for increasing the number of places of worship in this parish and furnishing them in unique and interesting ways.
